Sean is a writer, editor, photographer, and marketing literato based out of the Midwest with a dog who curiously resembles a fox more than any dog ever should. Most of Sean’s early work occurred in the trenches of magazine and web production, where he worked for a gaggle of publishers and websites including WebMD, Paste Magazine, and Stereogum. The majority of a decade and an MBA later, Sean collaborates with various friends (clients is a terribly cold, grey-colored word) on digital marketing strategy and content strategy. He wouldn’t say it out loud, but he finds his past and present endeavors suspiciously similar. Sean still keeps his journalism flame burning as an editor at Paste Magazine and contributor to some of the finest publications remaining in the communication spectrum.
He adores the following in no particular order: Neil Gaiman, the Duplass Brothers, Werckmeister Harmonies, Swiss design, ampersands, The Muppets, ’70s leather jackets, Craig Thompson, autumn, Nada Surf, The Book Thief, Double Fine Productions, and the way old paper smells.
