Project: Photography/Art Direction for Regional Launch
Audience: Millennial Food Enthusiasts
In late Summer 2016, Uber recruited me to art and direct and photograph in preparation for the launch of UberEATS, a meal delivery service that utilizes Uber’s ride-sharing network. Over the course of 109 shoots (23 of them arranged, shot and edited within a month for the launch), I ventured through central Ohio’s kitchens and dining rooms, with my own lighting rig and equipment in tow. I’d discuss the aesthetic/goals of the food with the managers before production, ensuring that the coloring, brightness and aesthetic fit were always on brand. Participating vendors included Subway, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Donatos Pizza and Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea. It was the best-smelling job I’ve ever had. Select samples below.
